Emilio Martinez Poppe
Emilio is an artist designer and educator born in Baltimore and working between Brooklyn and Lima Peru. Their practices and collaborations have been supported by the New Museum, Cooper Union, SOMA, Cornell University, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Their work has been presented at Creative Time, Framer Framed, Side Room, and Vlaams Cultuurhuis de Brakke Grond. Martinez Poppe was educated at the Cooper Union and Gerrit Rietveld Academie and is currently a member of the collective BFAMFAPhD and an Artist in Residence at NEW INC at the New Museum.
Abraham Burickson & Ayden LeRoux
Abe is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Odyssey Works. Trained in architecture at Cornell University, Burickson’s work spans writing, design, performance, and sound art. His work has been profiled on NPR’s Studio 360, in the New York Times, The Rumpus, ArtInfo, Fast Company, Vulture, the Marina Abramovic Institute's Immaterial, Archinect, the Stanford Storytelling Project, the SF Bay Guardian, SF Weekly, ARTE television, Metro NY,, and elsewhere, and he has lectured at such places as Gallaudet University, The Brooklyn Museum, Cornell University, The Battersea Arts Centre, Fordham University, The GoGame, and Southern Exposure Gallery.
Rick Valicenti
Rick has been a leading presence in design as a practitioner, an educator, and a mentor. In 1988, he founded Thirst, a Chicago-based design collaborative devoted to art, function, and real human presence. In 2006, Valicenti was honored with the AIGA Medal and was included in Cooper-Hewitt’s National Design Triennial. He is the editor of a monograph on Thirst, Emotion as Promotion.
Jackie Littman & Eric Gunther
Jackie is a designer for Sosolimited, an art and technology studio that specializes in interactive environments and multi-sensory design. She is the creator of The Little Bug, an award-winning interactive storybook app which received recognition from USA Today as a top 10 kids app of 2014. Jackie studied design for the theatre at the University of Maryland and received her MFA in graphic design from the Maryland Institute College of Art. She now resides in Boston.
Mark Mulder & Rienne Potter
Mark Mulder is a graphic designer, visual researcher, educator and course director Graphic Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam University. After his bachelor study in Graphic Design, Mark started his own practice. The Studio for Visual Pop.Culture (http://www.visuelepopcultuur.nl/) is a graphic design studio, which operates in the field of identity, strategy and research. The studio works in a broad variety of contexts: from commissioned work, ranging from corporate identities to cultural communications, and self initiated (research) projects.

IDEO is an international design consultancy that has served countless clients and communities. IDEO is famous for developing and sharing design thinking tools and furthering the principles of human-centered design. Nick, Mitch, and Natalya led thesis students on an astonishing afternoon of group ideation.
Abbott’s projects address the cultural role of design and the public life of the written word. At Pentagram he leads a team designing books, magazines, catalogs, identities, exhibitions, and creating editorial projects. His work and critical writing has appeared in Eye, Print, I.D. and other publications, and he is the co-author of four books, including the classic Design/Writing/Research: Writing on Graphic Design.
Jeremy Hoffman
Jeremy maintains his own design practice and also serves as a collaborative designer and art director at Ashton Design in Baltimore, Maryland. During his 12-year tenure at Pentagram, Jeremy Hoffman was promoted to senior designer and later named an associate partner. Working primarily with museums and cultural institutions, Jeremy worked on an array of branding, exhibition, and signage projects.
Prem Krishanmurthy & Emily Smith
Prem is a New York-based designer, curator, educator, and writer. He has collaborated with museums and institutions such as the Art Institute of Chicago, Bozar Brussels, Carnegie International 2018, Cooper Hewitt, Guggenheim, Harvard, Istanbul Design Biennial, M+, MoMA, The Renaissance Society at the University of Chicago, RISD Museum, SALT Istanbul, Whitney, and Yale University Art Gallery on significant identity, spatial, publication, and interactive projects. Prem is also the Founder and Curator of P!, a critically-acclaimed exhibition space in New York City’s Chinatown.
