Artists, designers, and musicians are often compelled to investigate musical and visual disciplines.
The flow of creativity and expression between visual and musical media is not coincidental. The disciplines share deep structural connections. The principles of composition, harmony, and layering are foundational in music, art, and design.
Despite these strong parallels, very few resources approach music education through a visual lens. This thesis aims to change the way music theory is taught.
