For as long as we’ve recorded weather, the natural world followed familiar rhythms. Seasons shifted, storms passed, and the outdoors remained habitable. But a climate system beyond tipping points will push weather to such extremes that it will displace one in every 45 people by 2050. How do we prepare for this reality when our language, cultures, and systems—shaped by a stable climate—fail to capture the chaos ahead? Weather Futures is a window into a future defined by volatile weather, visualised through its most destructive forces: heat, wind, and water.
