What do two roommates talk about over dinner? For three months, I video recorded our nightly conversations. Using a sociolinguistic lens, I analyzed how conversation topics reflect personal interests, shared experiences, and current events. The wall displays our conversation topics. Frequently discussed topics—school and food—contrast with less discussed topics like weather and music. Embedded in the tableware, these conversations become artifacts of our voices and attitudes.
