(un)natural uses leaves as a metaphor to explore how society celebrates the diversity of nature while pressuring women to conform to narrow beauty ideals. Through the study of leaves, cosmetic packaging, video, and interactive installation, my thesis reveals the tension between organic variation and manufactured perfection. By contrasting natural forms with standardized beauty norms, this work questions what is considered "natural" and challenges the viewer to rethink how we define and value beauty.
